My Ben-Ben (my gay boyfriend) says that a new hairdo is as good as a vacation. He's right. Went to Mirko (Ben's boyfriend, and the father of my children because he's a genius) last night to get some color done and he added some red in it as well so now I have new mid-spring hair. Shines nicely in the sun. Yaaay! Unbelievable how happy you can get when someone plays with your hair for a while. I feel rejuvenated now, slowly recovering from the flu from hell (not to be confused with the swine flu). I'm only coughing up one lounge at the time now, as oppose to both of them last week. And things have stopped tasting like burnt coffee.
Anyway, here's to hair stylists around the world! Cheers.
besitos.

From Granada with love...
So we finally made the big trip to Granada last weekend with the Girls! It was a surprise trip for Mary (aka Flat Mate, aka The Lost Flat Mate, aka Cool Cat, aka Poised) lets just say a dear child has many names ;)
We'd (WE= rest of the cava bitches which will later on get their own introduction) had been planning this surprise trip for Mary's birthday for a few weeks, we even got the Boyfriend involved in the scheming. Oh we thought we were so cleaver... keeping secrets. Whispers here and there. The Boyfriends mission was to convince Mary he was whisking her away on a romantic trip somewhere (and you know, he would do this just on a whim in real life too. Ah the life she leads...). He was going to take her to the airport, where we would jump out and scream SURPRISE and AAAH and whatever else have you.
Saturday morning we meet up early at Jaume 1. Jami, wonderful bride-to-be managed to convince her fiancé to drive us to the airport. Can't say the bloke looked too happy when he picked up four excited women at 6 am on Saturday morning, but let’s just say Fiancé scored some nice friends points. Now all we had to do wait for the package to be delivered at said meeting location, so we could do planned surprise screaming. Except we got to the airport, stood in the freezing cold in our skimpy little outfits (Sophia wore open toed sandals...) and no Mary in sight. Finally we get a phone call from frantic Boyfriend, who with carefully chosen profanities, let us know they were waiting at Terminal C (inside mind you), while we'd been standing at Terminal B, like morons, outside in the cold, mind you. Off we go to Terminal C.
When we got there Mary wasn't surprised. There was no SURPRISE and AAAH. She'd put two and two together and realized that when Boyfriend refused to let her pack her toothbrush in his bag with the reason "Just because I don't want to let you pack your toothbrush in my bag, put it in your own bag..." she realized something was up. But she still seemed happy to see us, and even though we were a bit disappointed and I couldn't feel my toes any longer, we still got on the airplane happy and smiling!

So after weird farmer tans (I had the best one) sunglass lines (Gina takes that prize) and red noses all around, we finally made it back to Barcelona on Monday night, and I stepped right into the flu from hell (which is a whole different story all together...).
All in all - whether the surprise was ruined or not, we had an awesome time. Thank you Bitches! Can't wait for the next trip...

Besitos!

The weather has gone bi-polar today.
Right, so time to start this thing. I signed up for a blog a few months ago and I can't say much has happened since. I actually found that finally I have something to write about. The Barcelonian weather today.
This morning was sunny, two hours later black clouds swept over the city and not long after that hail the size of quarters started falling, and after that the sun was back again, and then it started raining again. And now it's sunny. Seriously, someone needs to make up their mind now. It's getting kind of hard to leave the house without preparing for the Flood and end of the Earth.
On a brighter note, my day is almost over :)
Spanish Word of the Day: ¡Joder! (very bad word, but one of my favorites).
besitos.
